The Pyrite-Alt, a modified version of our original Pyrite, features a Wharncliffe-style blade and an opening hole rather than the original thumb stud, providing a more fidget-friendly experience. The blade is constructed from our proprietary AR-RPM9 steel, which offers excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening, making it the ideal choice for an everyday carry knife.

The modified Wharncliffe-style blade is designed to maximize cutting power while minimizing overall edge length, allowing even short cuts to bite deep and separate materials with ease. The fine tip is ideal for piercing cuts and tip work, while the slight curvature of the blade enables better slicing capability for general tasks. Additionally, the shape of the blade allows for very easy sharpening and maintenance.

The Pyrite-Alt's razor-thin 0.11-inch blade stock allows the knife to glide effortlessly through cuts with incredible accuracy. Coupled with the slim handles and aggressive milling, the thin stock also helps to significantly cut down the overall weight of the knife, keeping it comfortable and light in the pocket.

The full steel handles of the Pyrite-Alt have been strategically milled out to result in a perfectly balanced knife that still maintains a comfortable, reassuring weight in hand. The rugged stonewash finish rounds out the look of the Pyrite-Alt, giving this knife a perfectly balanced and clean appearance.

The button lock of the Pyrite-Alt provides exceptional strength and performance, allowing for quick and fluid deployment using the thumb hole and easy closing by simply pressing the button to disengage the lock. The two-position deep-carry pocket clip disappears in any pants pocket and firmly affixes the knife in place, ensuring comfortable carry, while the discreet lanyard pin keeps the lanyard freely accessible without disrupting the flow of the scales.
